- Lawn mowing
Scheduled routine lawn mowing can be one of the most
aestheically pleasing and horticulturally sound practice if done properly.
Mowing of turf must be done at proper heights, with sharp blades, and
with trained technicians that do not tear up your turf. Turf Works uses
only the top equipment with trained professionals to get the job done.
- Lawn
fertilizing and weed control
Turf Work's seasonable
approach to fertilizing and weed control for a healthy, thick lawn:
Spring: Apply a balanced, complete fertilizer
with pre-emergent weed control.
Early Summer: Application of a
balanced, complete fertilizer containing iron and other micro nutrients,
and broadleaf weed control.
Late
Summer: Apply a slow release fertilizer containing iron and other
nutrients.
Fall: Apply a balanced, complete fertilizer and broadleaf weed control.
- Lawn Aeration
Aeration is a process that removes small plugs
from the lawn. This process enables more air, water, and nutrients
to reach the turf grass roots. This in turn provides a healthier, thicker
lawn that forces out insects, weeds, and diseases.
- Thatching
Over the years, layers of thatch(dead grass) build up in your turf that
can cause bald spots or discoloration of your lawn.
Turf Works has equipment to remove this layer of thatch and get your
lawn growing strong again.
- Repairs and Overseeding
Repairing a lawn requires a good match between new seed/sod/plus with what
is already growing so it's a nice blend.
- Insect control
Turf Works provides services
to inspect and treat for lawn insect, fungus, and weed problems in
your lawn. Only if we find a problem do our technicians apply pesticides
to control the issue.
